As the seasons change, so do we
The days grow shorter, and the world around us begins to quiet.
Yet for many of us, this season brings anything but stillness.
The holidays approach and responsibilities grow. We move from one thing to the next, carrying so much, with little time or space to truly listen to ourselves.
And sometimes, when we finally slow down, we begin to notice what's been asking for our attention all along.
The emotions, the exhaustion, the longing, the parts of ourselves we've been too busy to tend to.
What if this season wasn't about doing more, but about creating space to be with what is?
To soften the pace, to listen to your body, and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that get lost in the noise of everyday life.
To remember that you, too, are part of nature and you are allowed to have seasons.
A day to return to yourself
The Season Within is an intimate, six-hour retreat that invites you out of the busyness of everyday life and into a space of presence, curiosity, and connection.
Together, we'll explore what it means to turn inward as the natural world prepares for winter.
Through intentional movement, breathwork, nature immersion, sound healing, Reiki, and meaningful connection, we'll create space to listen to what's alive within us, nurture what needs our attention, and explore what we want to carry into the season ahead.
Not to become someone different.
But to come into deeper relationship with who we already are.

Brincka Cross gardens
Nestled within the heart of Pine Township, also known as Furnessville, lies a truly unique gem—Brincka Cross Gardens, a sanctuary where art and nature blend seamlessly.
Originally created by artist and professor Bill Brincka of the Art Institute of Chicago, the gardens reflect his vision and creative spirit in every corner. Alongside him was his partner, Basil Cross, a distinguished antique furniture curator for Marshall Fields in Chicago, who brought his own passion and refinement to the property.
Together, Bill and Basil spent more than 45 years designing and nurturing four acres of breathtaking gardens, surrounded by 21 acres of untouched woodlands. The result is a vibrant, living canvas that continues to inspire visitors year-round.
faq
Do I need any prior experience with yoga, breathwork, or somatic practices?
Not at all! This retreat is open to all levels of experience, whether you're completely new to these practices or have been exploring them for years. Everything will be guided, and you'll always be encouraged to listen to your body, honor your needs, and move at your own pace.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a yoga mat, journal and pen, reusable water bottle, comfortable clothing, warm layers, and shoes suitable for walking outdoors.
You're also welcome to bring a blanket, pillow, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable throughout the day.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes! We'll provide light snacks, water, and warm tea as part of your experience.
We recommend eating a nourishing meal before arriving, as a full lunch is not currently planned.
If you have any food allergies or dietary considerations, please let us know ahead of time.
What if I'm uncomfortable with certain activities or sharing in a group?
Your experience is entirely your own. While we'll offer opportunities for connection, reflection, and sharing, participation is always optional. You will never be required to share anything personal, engage in physical touch, or participate in an activity that doesn't feel right for you.
What if the weather is cold or rainy?
Since we're gathering in Northwest Indiana in November, we're preparing for colder weather.
Our outdoor nature experience will depend on the weather, and we'll adjust our activities as needed to keep everyone comfortable and safe. If the weather doesn't allow us to gather outdoors, we'll offer an alternative indoor mindfulness practice.
Can I attend alone?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it.
This retreat is an opportunity to spend meaningful time with yourself while connecting with others in an intimate, welcoming environment.
What is your cancellation & refund policy?
Due to the intimate nature of this retreat, limited availability, and the preparation involved in creating this experience, we kindly ask that you review our cancellation policy before registering.
Tickets are nonrefundable. However, you're welcome to transfer your spot to another person by notifying us at least 48 hours before the retreat.
No-shows: Refunds or credits will not be issued for missed attendance.
If we cancel the retreat: You'll receive a full refund of your retreat payment.
If you need to cancel or transfer your reservation, please reach out to us directly.
You don't have to wait until you're exhausted to rest.
You don't have to understand everything you're feeling to give it space. And you don't have to navigate every season of life without support.
Sometimes, the most meaningful thing we can do is give ourselves the space to listen.
Come as you are. Return to what's true for you.
